Thank you for visiting www.kakanoni.com, a niche website about food. The site’s name “kakanoni” is a combination of bicolano words “kakanon” or “food” and “ini” or “this” in the english language. In plain english, it literally translates to “this is food”. Food is also known as “pagkain or kakanin” in tagalog, “kan-on” specifically, “rice” in ilongo and “pagkaon” in albayano. Whatever we call it, FOOD is vital to our existence. We love it and we need it. These are the main reasons why this site was born.
Kakanoni.com started out as a hobby by it’s owner who, like everyone else, loves to eat good food. How-to-cook videos, recipes and articles about food from different cultures are posted daily.
